Probably: Fluid in the middle ears, indirectly, as inflamed nasal mucus membrane would block the Eustachian tubes openings in the throat through extended inflammation in the area. Fluid in external ears is unlikely to be caused by allergic rhinitis. Nasal saline irrigation and nasal sprays of different kinds, would help reduce nasal inflammation and open up Eustachian tubes to ventilate the middle ears
