Watery cervical mucus at the beginning of ovulation. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, normal: Yes, this is a response of your cervix to increasing estrogen levels which occur around the time of ovulation. This makes it easier for the sperm to get past your cervix and travel up into the uterus and tubes to fertilize your egg. Once you start producing progesterone, the cervical mucus becomes thicker/less watery.
