Are swollen lymph nodes in neck visible? and how can i know if they are swollen.

They are palpable: Normal sized lymph nodes are quite small and not palpable. If the nodes enlarge to a size of 1 to 2 cm, then they are palpable if you run down your fingers over the skin of your neck. Very large lymph nodes(over 2 inches in size) can be visible to the eye. But that is pretty late to discover them.
