Serious enough.: There are certain young people at risk for serious problems which might cause such symptoms, e.g. young women on birth control pills are at increased risk for blood clots. Therefore, one should report the symptoms to ones doctor to enable an appropriate evaluation.

Serious enough? : It sounds like the symptoms you describe could result from anything incl mild URI 2 anxiety disorder. It sounds like sxs R quite distressing to you , and have been going on for 2 weeks now. What makes you feel that anxiety is not a serious medical concern? Get into your doc ASAP to establish diagnosis and begin treatment , whatever the diagnosis. If it is anxiety, that's a real medical problem too
