A member asked:

I was told i have subclinical hypothyroidism; is there a way to treat it without medication, exercise, cutting out sugar, etc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypothyroidism: The proper way to treat hypothyroidism is to administer the correct amount of thyroid replacement to bring the tsh to normal range. General measures like exercise, diet or weight reduction wouldn't significantly affect tsh levels. Your physician or throidologist is best qualified to advise you, however.
