Angioma possible: This could be a cherry angioma, a common benign vascular growth. These are usually bright red and sharply demarcated from the surrounding skin. See your doctor if you are concerned that it's appearance is not as I've described.. However if this lesion continues to bleed, or enlarges, it is urgent to have a physician check it.
