See below.: Hormone replacement is recommended for the short term treatment of symptoms related to menopause. Reasons not to use it include- hx or significant risk of the following diseases: blood clots, heart disease, breas cancer, stroke or active liver disease. The lowest dose to relieve symptoms should be used.
