Depends on person: A blood pressure is only too low when there are symptoms. Many people have normal sbp in 90's range. My own has occasionally been in 80's, but no symptoms (no medication or medical problems either).

80/40: 80/40 is about as low as an average person can tolerate without losing consciousness. Some people especially young thin females can run on the low side. It doesn't take much to make them pass out.
