About 2 weeks ago: One scan at 8-11 weeks of pregnancy gives a good estimate of the conception date, which is estimated to be 2 weeks after the official start of a pregnancy. Accurate means plus or minus one week, because nobody knows exactly when conception happens. However, if a woman knows exactly when she had sex, that can point to the conception date. One should ask her Dr., "How certain is a 4-week estimate?"
