Increased sedation: These *may* be taken these together - with certain precautions. They both have the effect of drowsiness, and some people are more susceptible than others. If you become drowsy to both, understand that you're in for a double-whammy. Even if not, it'd be a good idea not to take the first dose in the hours before you have to drive anywhere, but rather in the evening before going to bed.
