My doctor gave ciplar-40 for my migraine. i heard, there are certain side effects for this medicine. will this cure migraine or just reduces headache?

Generic Inderal (propranolol): You were provided a Beta-blocker drug which is approved in the USA to prevent migraines. This is not a cure, but rather a preventative. Side effects include low blood pressure and pulse, exercise intolerance, depression, worsening of asthma; so, may be tough to reach a fully therapeutic dosing.
