How diagnosed?: A tenet of medicine is treatment designed for the wrong diagnosis is seldom effective. Not all itchy rears have to do with pin worms. There are a variety of yeast, bacteria, food reactions, etc that can result in anal itching.Unless you actually had pin worms detected by tape test or other definitive study you are likely treating the wrong problem.
