Hard to tell: It could be many things... Tooth ache, muscle pain... A tumor... I would suggest seeing a orofacial or craniofacial pain specialist.

See a dentist: Clinically i would suspect that dental problem. The seeing the dentist to determine the cause of the pain would be the first step. While the pain medications may relieve pain it will not cure any underlying disease process.
