Not vicodin: Vicodin is hydrocodone and is a dangerous opiate painkiller. Lawfully you cannot even have it without a physician's close supervision, and if you use it casually, you'll end up enslaved to its subtle addictive powers. Aspirin is worthless as a means of managing cholesterol though in some people it counters atherosclerosis by other mechanisms. Your physician is your guide.
