Depends: The common recommendation is for a first Pelvic exam within 6 mo of starting sexual activity or age 21.Whether you see an OBGYN or other primary care provider would depend on the type of services common in your area.Many Family docs/nurse practitioners handle routine things and refer you out for specialty issues.
