Alcohol & Pregnancy: 33 year old lady with question about wine and pregnancy. Current medical opinion is to recommend that women do not drink alcohol at all during pregnancy, which is contrary to what women were told in previous years. Don't worry about a sip but instead correct the behavior in your head and remember to think next time about the health of your baby. Pregnancy is challenging-you can make it! Good luck.

I seriously doubt it: I am not, of course, advocating rampant alcohol abuse during pregnancy. I've taken care of many pregnant women during their pregnancies and delivered many babies, and would never want to cause harm to come to any one. But I think in this case, reassurance is appropriate. You didn't hurt your baby. A sip of wine - and probably even a gulp - isn't going to cause any trouble IMO. :)
