As I'm sure you: ...know, Accutane has many side effects. The biggest concern in women of reproductive age is pregnancy b/c it can cause birth defects. Exfoliating creams (such as Retin A) are a safer alternative for dealing with superficial acne, including whiteheads. I recommend you discuss this with your dermatologist. Best wishes. Dr. Anne.
