Abdominal pain is: quite common in children and is often what we call functional, which means it doesn't have an underlying physical cause. Sometimes it is from stress or school anxiety. She may also actually be constipated; often abdominal pain in children turns out to be from constipation even when, by history, it doesn't appear to be. Please discuss with her doctor and have her checked there.
