Several things...: Has she had any contacts with illness? Any recent travel? Loose stools? Bloody Stools? Any contact with animals, pets, in particular reptiles? Past history of constipation? Any fever? Is pain intermittent? or is it persistent and worsening? Can she walk? or is she lying very still? These are the first questions we will ask when evaluating her.
