Dosage adjustment: Usually, most cases of hypothyroidism are treated with increasing doses of l-thyroxin until all levels of T3 (liothyronine). T4 and TSH are normalized. This is determined by routine blood testing including checking for anti- thyroid antibodies to rule out autoimmune ( Hashimoto's) thyroiditis.
