Thirst: Since your blood sugars are normal, I would look for other causes of thirst such as fluid loss from excessive sweating or abnormal dryness in the atmosphere or even certain medications or supplements you may be taking. If excessive thirst persists consult your physician who will order any other appropriate tests to check for abnormalities in serum electrolytes, kidney function,etc
