Discoloration: in the toenails can be an indication of nail fungus. You need to have it looked at by a Podiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment plan. If that is the issue there are many good natural and prescription medications that will take care of it!

What, me worry.....: Unless the nail change is due to trauma, which is unlikely, it is not normal. The only thing needed to fear is, that if you do not start early treatment, the condition could become more difficult to cure. It is more than likely some sort of an infection that can be verified by simple laboratory testing. If required a medication can start you on your way to resolution.
