It's safe: but probably won't work for the "moles". It sounds as if you may have dermatosis papulosis nigra (compare your "moles" to Morgan Freeman). This condition is fairly common, must be pretty annoying but does respond to certain lasers. You should consult a cosmetic dermatologist. Good luck!
