Discuss with Ur doc: Generally ,the baby delivered during/thru a pelvis affected by primary herpes is at the greatest risk.If your primary infection spared the baby (common), there is less but some risk if delivered while you have a reinsurance. Some schedule a c-section to avoid the risk and others take meds to suppress recurrences.
