Not uncommon: Itching usually gets worse at night regardless of the cause. First I would suggest that you try sleeping on a couch overnight to see if the bed has anything to do with it- even though I doubt that this is the cause. Since you are on Tamoxifen, your skin may be dry. Apply moisturizer <3 mins after bathing may help. If the hair loss in unexplained (chemo?) get checked for iron def.

See a dermatologist: Stop fooling around and see a pro. No use speculating. You really need to be evaluated, to define this, and to begin a rational approach to therapy. That treatment depends on intelligent, experienced evaluation of everything going on. It might be serious or it might be merely annoying.
