What are the symtoms of bladder infection?

Irritative symptoms: Typical symptoms of a bladder infection include burning, frequency, urgency and a sensation of incompete bladder emptying. Some patients may see blood in the urine as well. If you have these symptoms, you should see your physician. He/she will order the appropriate tests, prescribe antiobiotics if indicated and will also have you see a urologist if you have seen blood in the urine.

Dysuria: Discomfort on passing urine, frequent urination, fever, chills are possible and common. There may be other minor symptoms.
