Bladder infections ?: Sexually active women are vulnerable to bladder infections b/c of the proximetry of the urethra to the vagina, which harbors bacteria which can invade the urethra and bladder. It may help avoid a bladder infection if one empties the bladder with some force just after sexual intercourse, and hydration with water will help to reduce the incidence.
