Pain: If there is no obvious inflammation or infection present, this type of discomfort may be from inflammation/irritation of nerves in that region. A viral process like herpes may cause this even without the typical eruption. If symptoms persist consult a gynecologist for evaluation and a thorough rectopelvic examination. In the meantime try sitting in hot(not too hot) water for relief.
