Cough after Z pack: Most things for which Zpack is given are due to a virus and thus not affected by ZPack. Need to know how old you are, more health details before can say more. If you smoke stop. For good. ACE inhibitors used to treat HTN are a common cause of chronic cough.

Cough duration: Studies show that antibiotics do not improve cough severity or duration in uncomplicated bronchitis. The cough typically last 1-3 weeks. Some studies showed inhaled beta agonist therapy decreased cough severity/ duration in some bronchitis patients.
