Not likely: The bacterial organisms that cause bacterial vaginosis tend to be Gram negative anaerobes that Penicillin will not completely "kill". Anaerobes are bacteria that don't like to live in the presence of oxygen( the vagina) and Penicillin prefers aerobes(oxygen loving bacteria) to treat that are Gram positive.
