Castophrenic angles: Castophrenic angle is the angle between the lung and the diaphragm. It is a normal anatomical finding. Fluid collection in pleural cavity may obliterate the angle.

Costophrenic: This is a sign on chest xray implying there is no fluid in the recesses of the pleural cavity near the diaphragm at the level of the lateral ribs. Costo means rib or chest wall and phrenic means diaphragm. This is a good sign.

It is: a normal appearance. When it is not "sharp", it is abnormal and could indicate pleural effusion or scarring.
