Incomplete treatment: You may not have had adequate treatment (perhaps an antibiotic that "stunned" bacteria but didn't kill it). If you are having recurrent urinary tract infections, for example, get tested after treatment to be sure it's gone. I am assuming your immune system is healthy. See your doctor with questions.
