Why does propranolol cause headaches when it is leaving the system when it is supposed to treat headaches?

Sudden change: You can have many different symptoms upon discontinuation of many medication because you have "shocked" your system with a sudden change. Most if not all drugs you have taken for a sustained length of time (especially propranalol) should be weaned down over a couple of weeks.
