Yes. definitely: that is not a lot of narcotic (I suspect it was 1/4 of 8 mg...2 mg buprenorphine equivalent). this is equivalent to 5 to 10 mg of percocet BUT 1) it is long acting. On the one hand it will give a more gradual tapering off and lower withdrawal symptoms, on the other hand it will lengthen the overall process by 1to 2 da. 2) it means you are still taking a drug.
