A member asked:

Is it normal to get headaches and cramping during pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mostly normal: About 1/3 of pregnant women have an increase in headaches, and that is ok. If you have severe headaches that don't go away with tylenol, (acetaminophen) or spots in front of your eyes, call your obstetrician immediately. Cramping may be normal, but if your entire abdomen is getting hard and tight, and this is coming and going regularly, call your obstetrician. Wishing you the best during your pregnancy.
