Highly variable.: It is going to be increased risk. But some surgeries such as cataract are quite superficial and low risk. Some surgeries can be modified to become close to a superficial surgery by using only local anaesthetic and cutting off blood to the area (hand and limb surgery). And risk matters more about other factors than age (diabetes, heart disease, etc.).

More: info is needed. Age by itself is not a contraindication to surgery, and different types of surgery carry different risks.
