Complex question: Easy answer: IT DEPENDS. ACUTE sinusitis (<4 weeks) can cause headaches/dizziness (vertigo) while ACUTE worsening of CHRONIC sinusitis can as well. CHRONIC sinusitis (12+ weeks) isn't thought to cause severe headaches/dizziness or headache syndromes.
