Cold Heat.: I don't think they are related. DOMS has to do with micro damage to the muscles. The delayed onset of soreness is an effect of training and exertion as well as fitness. Post exercise chilling is more of the result of the body's end result of dissipating the heat generated by exercise. Once exercising stops, heat production stops. Your core temperature falls, cooling continues and you feel chills.
