I've been taking tylenol (acetaminophen) daily for a toothache and zantac occasionally for gerd and i just read that it's not safe to mix them. am i going to be okay?

Liver injury: Taking these 2 medications together would be more likely to cause an issue if you have an underlying liver disease. Both medications are processed by the liver therefore there is a slight risk of liver injury. As long as you continue to take Zantac as needed, and the tylenol (acetaminophen) use ends when your toothache subsides you should not have any issues. You should also avoid alcohol when taking these meds

Small risk: Small risk of toxicity to liver. Try ibuprofen instead. key is to see DDS for tooth pain.
