Recovery period: If you just had a total abdominal hysterectomy 2 weeks ago then it is expected that you are still sore and have some numbness on your abdomen. This is a big surgery. Expected recovery times are typically 6 weeks. You can discuss the details of your surgery with your surgeon to see if any complications occurred that might even require a longer recovery.
