A member asked:

Can any cell in your body become cancerous? are there some that don't?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Cells that rarely divide cannot accumulate the mutations required to destabilize the genome and turn malignant. This is probably why cancers never show the characteristics of mature nerve cells or striated muscle cells.
