Constipation: We vary greatly in our bowel movement frequency, from once daily to once weekly. What's important is that stool isn't excessively hard and that you don't have to push dramatically. But no one should have to drink tea to force a bowel movement. Yes, we recommend lots of fiber, fluids & physical activity to stimulate bowel function. See your Family Doc if still having concerns w/your bowel function.
