Bruise read on..: Sometimes a hit over a bone can lead toa bruise with capillary breaks. This can lead to anatomosis ( capillaries joining up and forming a long term reddish mark. It may diminish over time and skin thickening as one ages. Have it seen once by a doctor/dermatologist.
