Virus probably: A 22 month old boy with runny nose often and loss of appetite. He could have a simple cold which can cause these symptoms. If the runny nose and loss of appetite are lasting longer than 10 days or so, he might have a bacterial sinus infection which could require antibiotic therapy. He could also have allergies. Please see his pediatrician.
