Listen to ur doc: Vascular surgeon and a doppler study should settle the issue, what makes you think you know more than your doctor, have you left something out of the information ? Please go see another doctor if you think you have a problem, a second opinion may be helpful

DVT arm: Many things can elevate D Dimer. If you have pain or ongoing swelling in your upper extremity, I recommend that you get a venous Duplex scan in an accredited vascular lab and also get a specialist opinion from a phlebologist or vascular surgeon.
