Yes: I would say yes...no worries, but I would have the area looked at and if he has not had a current tetanus shot this would be a good time to get it done and protect him in the future.

Yes: Yes, it would be wise to be seen. At a minimum they would put him on an antibiotic to reduce infection risk. Sometimes we will also see other things that need to be done as well.
