A member asked:

Had ct scan and it showed i had hypodense lesion infarcts. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypo-dense lesions: Hypodense lesions from infarcts means that there was loss of brain tissue as a result of lack of blood supply to the brain. This may be due to lack of blood flow or obstruction of blood flow to that area of the brain where the lesions are noted on the Head CT. Hope this helps!
