A member asked:

Why is there a bump on my eyeball and a popped blood vessel with some pain.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thin vein: You did something to increase the venous pressure in your head; probably coughing or sneezing or lifting something heavy. This caused a little blood seepage from a thin vessel on the eye surface. These are dramatic looking but benign and your eye will absorb the blood over 3-8 days.
