Over the counter: You may try any over the counter wart remedy. Letting it be may cause pain because of the wart getting compressed with normal use of the hand.

There is a small focused skin thickening on my R index finger (inside of hand). It is painful when pressure is applied, i.e when I grip anything. It does not resemble a wart at all. Has become bigger and more painful over the past 10 months?
