Protected every day: Daily protection is the point of using the pills. A woman is protected every day of the month if taking pills correctly, regardless of what else is going on, unless she is sick with vomiting or diarrhea and cannot absorb the pills. Her husband can ejaculate every day, and her protection against pregnancy would still be working.

Unlikely: Condoms protect from pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections at the same time. Birth control pills are more reliable to protect from pregnancy, but do not protect from infections. A woman on birth control pills is unlikely to get pregnant.
